Kevin and Melissa Visit

A few months ago we had some of our best friends from CO come to visit!  We had tried and tried to get them to China, but it was too hard to coordinate so with Cayman being so close they were able to make it happen!  Their first night here was Kevin's birthday so we started the vacation off with a bang.

Getting off the plane!

Cupcakes for his B-day!

We did so many things while they were here, shopping in George Town, Lots of beach time and some great dinners out!  It was even the super bowl with the Broncos (we won't talk about the game) while they were here.  We had a few people over for the game and food.  It started as a fun night but as you all know, it didn't end well for our team...

Joel's coworker from China also was visiting the island the week Kevin and Mel were here so he came to join us for the big game.

Olive and Bart

Sorry it is blurry!

This is what happens when your team is losing...you can't sit down.

At least we had booze to numb our pain : )

We woke Olive up with our yelling...oops.

One of the days Kevin and Melissa were here we took the catamaran to stingray city, poor Joel had to work.  It was such a nice day!  It did rain a bit but it didn't dampen our spirits!  Olive and I stayed on the boat but Kev and Mel got to snorkel and swim with the stingrays.  I think they really loved it!

Boat ride!

Olive makes me very popular...

A little rain never hurt anyone!

Swimming with the stingrays!

We spent several days just relaxing on the beach.  It was so fun, sun and sea and of course some drinks!  We went snorkeling at a beach called Spotts and we were able to see and follow around 2 sea turtles.  How cool is that?

Our spot on Spotts!

Turtle!

What a cutie!

Rum point is always a great day, we went out there to enjoy some sun and relaxation.  It is a fun place to visit because the drive over you get to see a big portion of the island.  Plus it is a beautiful view and a great beach.

Rum point, Olive wanted in the pic!

Rum point cocktail.

Sad to go!

We had several good meals out but one of our favorite was Casanova.  The food was wonderful but you just really can't beat that view.  We made it in time for sunset and the setting was idillic.

View from dinner.

Olive loved it too!

The opening ceremony was also on TV while Kevin and Melissa were here, we had a few friends over and did a make your own pizza bar.  It was so delish!

Joel was our chef for the night!

Yum!

Another one of our beach days was spent on seven mile beach.  Melissa and Olive and I lounged and napped while the boys took a boat out to go wake boarding.  They said they had a blast!

Beach Babe!

Three ladies lounging.

Getting ready to wake board!

Wake boarding!

The last day of their trip came way too quickly.  We had a nice lunch and a few goodbye drinks and then saw them off to the airport.  It was such a fun trip, hopefully they will come and see us again!

The guys needed assistance with the baby... I carry her by myself all day long.

Last beer and goodbyes!

What a great week with the Anderson, hurry back!
